If he honestly cared about you one bit he wouldn’t have left. Not the first time, not the second time, not ever. I’m starting to forget how things used to be when you actually cared. I mean it was so long ago its almost like you never did. I want someone to share my secrets with, someone to talk to late at night when I can’t sleep, someone who feels comfortable around my family, someone to comfort me when I’m scared, to hold me when I’m sad, someone who doesn’t need to say that he loves me for me to know its true. Thanks for completely tearing me down because, I’ve built myself back up smarter and stronger than before. If he misses you, he’ll call. If he wants you, he’ll say it. And if he cares, he’ll show it. If not, he can’t be worth your time because you’re obviously not worth his. It’s like I was chasing after you and I really, really wanted to catch you.. But now I realized if you wanted to be caught, you would have stopped running. Doing the right thing takes courage and strength. At least that’s what I’ve heard. And everything that’s hard is only made harder by not having your best friend by your side. The past is always with us, just waiting to mess with the present. You either realize I’m worth the risk, and you admit you care about me. Or I’ll just stop caring.
